THEME SESSIONS

Concluding considerations of each Congress sub-theme shall be presented to those attending this event in the year 2000, for their definitive discussion and final drafting. In order to reach these considerations, the Idiological Committee shall analize all the papers presented and shall be coordinate by ideological Committee and presided aver by the representatives of each FPAA region for each sub-theme.

OBJECTIVES OF THE CONGRESS

1.- To define the role and responsabilitties of the architects within a multidisciplinary framework.
2.- To bring various cultures closer together and mantain the values of many varied regions by merging universal with plural features, tradition with moderity.
3.- To search for new organizational models to make feasable projets and meet society's needs.
4.- To consolidate a culture based upon science, technology, art and tradition for an optimal use of natural and economical resources.
5.- To generate a document throught which specific proposals and actions may serve as a weft for the new century.

CHARACTERISTICS

To serve as forum with a capacity to convene all members of the society to participate, where the professional role and responsabilities of the architect will be acknowledged when confronting the urban phenomenon dealing with Architecture.
